As part of our ongoing financial literacy program, TG would like to welcome you to one of our most exciting free offerings – Positive+Balance Community (www.positivebalance.org).

This website is the home for all of TG’s Positive+Balance financial literacy courses, presentations, and training materials – which are freely available for downloading and use. We are also partnering with other organizations to be able to make their financial literacy offerings available as well. Positive+Balance Community’s goal is to be the premiere online library of financial literacy materials – a one stop shop. You can help too by contributing.

Positive+Balance Community is also a social website that allows counselors, educators, and financial aid professionals to meet online and share their experiences, ideas, and educational materials. Community members can post their own developed materials, share them with other professionals, and work together for the greater good of educating students with the best materials possible.

This site features discussion groups, an events calendar, and current news. You can create your own personalized member profile page and connect with other members. You can search for other members by name, job title, school location, and other criteria - even personal goals and interests. You can contact members to create groups, collaborate, discuss projects and plan events. Keep in mind, Positive+Balance Community is private. Only members will be able so share information with each other, and as a member, you can decide to share as little or as much information as you wish. You can add your own blog entries and even share photos from a recent industry event.
